Bearing change

Post by Fishy » 23 Apr 2018, 13:28

Looking to get my Islander bearings changed. Other than Centerpin Angling or sending the reel back to Islander, are there any other options around the GTA?

Thanks.

you can do it yourself; the only thing holding your bearing in is a drop of the blue locktite (not the red permanent stuff) heat it with a lighter and it will pop out. Put a drop off the blue stuff on outside edge of the outer ring (being careful not to get any inside the bearings) and pop in the new ones
